DIY Infinity Scarf {No Sewing Required!}

Have I mentioned how much I love scarves!? Obsessed with may be the more accurate description! Give me a pretty scarf and I'm a happy girl! But they can get kind of pricey at times! So when I found the idea to make infinity scarves using old t-shirts, I was excited to give it a try...which I finally did this weekend!! You don't even have to be crafty to do this one...it's so easy!

One of my finished scarves!

First you'll need an old t-shirt. It needs to have some stretch to it. The shirts I used were XL, I tried one with a small as well and it was too small to double, so larger definitely works better for this! You'll also need scissors. That's it...only two things!

Next, cut the hem off of the t-shirt. Then cut the t-shirt off right under the arms. There's no need to worry about the cuts being perfect- I'm the worst cutter in the world, and mine still turned out fine. The next step will cover any imperfections! You should be left with one big loop!

Now, take your loop and stretch it out. This will make the cut edges curl up (and is why it's important for the shirt to have some stretch).

That's it! Now, just put it on and double it up! Like I said, super easy, and looks great too!! I think I may have to be on the lookout for more old t-shirts!!

I also tried a braided scarf, and it didn't turn out quite as well as these did! I will share that another day! If you decide to give this a try, I'd love to hear about your results! Good luck!
