A big concern for many new moms after baby has arrived is getting their body back into shape. It was certainly a concern of mine. With my son, I was lucky enough to bounce back very quickly, but I knew this time around could be a lot different. Afterall, I was 19 years old then (just over two weeks away from 20)...not 25 (4 days shy of 26)...I knew that could make a huge difference, and I was worried! So I was thrilled when Belli sent me their Body Bounce Back Kit to try out after Miss Finley arrived!
For those unfamiliar with Belli, here is a little bit of information about this wonderful company:

Belli incorporates the best ingredients from science and nature with the benefits of aromatherapy and massage therapy for holistic care.
The Body Bounce Back Kit features products to address the two biggest concerns of most new moms: the body firming serum for slackened skin and stretchmark minimizing cream for stretchmarks. Now, I'll be the first to admit that I'm more than a little skeptical about these types of products. Could they truly make any difference whatsoever? But I figured any little thing to try to help would be worth a shot, right? I figured if nothing else, at least it would be good for my skin, without worrying about it being harmful to Finley since both products are breastfeeding safe! In fact, all Belli Mother products are LactMed screened to avoid any ingredients that may be harmful during breastfeeding!!
After Finley arrived, I was very lucky in that my stomach once again shrank down very quickly...but it certainly didn't feel as firm as pre-pregnancy! I started using the body firming serum a few days after we came home. The serum went on smoothly, no stickiness or oily feeling...it felt great on my skin! Overall, I loved the feeling of it! But did it work? I believe it did for me. Now obviously, I can't say for sure that it was the lotion, but I know that I certainly bounced back quicker this time around than I did with my son- with my age and this being a second pregnancy, that was completely unexpected for me, so I can only assume it was the aid of the serum that made the difference. It's not a cure all obviously, I still need to do some sit ups after the doctor approves, but it certainly seems to have helped things along for me!
I was also extremely lucky to not have gotten any stretchmarks on my stomach during pregnancy, so I cannot speak for the effectiveness of the stretchmark cream in reducing their appearance. I will however say that I loved the smell of this cream more than other stretchmark treatments I'd smelled in the past, and again found that it went on easily and smoothly.
Overall, I was extremely satisfied with the bounce back kit. If you're looking for something to aid in getting your prepregnancy body back (or improving upon your post baby body), I would certainly suggest considering giving Belli a try.
