Like many in America, we spent much of our January looking a little like this:
Yes, completely snowed in!! Perhaps this is why I found myself going just a little overboard this month with the Instagram photos!! Because I ended up with so many, I thought it best to split into two seprate posts...one today, and one tomorrow! Double the kiddo cuteness!

Finley being worn in a carrier is a very common occurrence around here. She loves it, I love it...my household tasks love it...
So naturally big brother Shaun wanted to see what all the fuss was about...and he loved it too!
He's even asked that I wear him at the mall!! Oh boy!!
This is what happens when you leave the room for just 5 minutes now...she started at the center of the blanket!! Growing up much too quickly!
Finley is anxiously awaiting the day that she is allowed to start solids.
This is the look she gives everyone else as they eat!
And my little man continues to make me love him more and more each day too.
Check out this sweet message he left me on the mirror while I was in the shower!

He calls this his Lego Man look.
He said 'Mommy, I look like you'...after stealing my glasses, of course!
And to show you what a lucky mommy I really am:
He even helps with diaper changes!!!
I love those carriers! They looks so comfy. I asked on Facebook and now I realize there are two. I'd love to know what kind they are.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! I didn't realize that those kinds of carriers could handle big kids too! Big brother gets jealous that the baby always gets to be carried around here, but instead of asking me to hold him he just asks me to put her down haha. He doesn't realize that it's much easier for me to give him my attention when she is being held and being quiet than when she is not being held and crying.
ReplyDeleteI totally stumbled on your blog by accident, and realized we have a lot in common!!! I just read your about me section, and as a former recruiter in the Marine Corps, I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH!!! Oh my gosh...I wouldn't wish recruiting duty on my worst enemy! haha! I'm so glad to have stumbled on this little gem of a blog. I'm your newest follower!
