For the breastfeeding mom, finding clothes can be a little tough. You need something that has easy access, but that is not too revealing...something that will let you nurse discreetly when out and about. Sure, there are many nursing clothing companies out there and some are crazy cute too...but in my personal experience I have found that those nursing clothes don't tend to fit ME very well. I'm rather petite and to be honest, even while nursing am not quite as...ahem, blessed...as most breastfeeding moms tend to be. For that reason, there always seems to be extra fabric that just defeats the purpose. Aside from that, I've also found many can be quite pricey! Wouldn't it be great if we could take any plain ol' top...and turn it into a nursing shirt? With Undercover Mama you can do just that!
So, how does it work?
Easy! It simply snaps to your favorite bra and you're ready to go! It's not a tank top (no sleeves), but rather turns any bra into a nursing tank. With two connection options, it's perfect for ANY bra. Perhaps you're wondering...'how is this better than a camisole underneath?' In many ways it's a very similar concept. With the camisole/Undercover below and your regular shirt on top, you can nurse more discreetly...and also keep other areas you may be uncomfortable with (like your post baby tummy) under wraps as well. But with camisoles, I have found that after frequent use for nursing, the chest area quickly becomes stretched and worn. They simply are not designed for that. Because the Undercover Mana unsnaps, it doesn't get the wear and tear. It's not being stretched, but simply folded down when baby nurses. Makes sense, right? I've also personally found that camisoles tend to slide down and don't give me that modest look I'm trying to achieve. Because this top is connected, I no longer have to worry about it coming down when I don't want it to! Seriously, genius!!!
They come in a wide variety of colors from classics like black or white to fun like the pink I received...there is literally something to go with anything and everything in your closet. It's the perfect way to make your existing wardrobe nursing friendly.
Overall, I love my Undercover Mama. I'd love one in each and every color! You can learn more and connect at the links below:
