**This post contains affiliate links, but my love of children's books and fashion is all my own.
Books are such an important part of childhood aren't they? As a child, I always had my nose in a book...a love I've carried with me into adulthood. And as a parent, I knew I wanted to pass along some of my personal favorites to my children as well. Among that list of favorites included Eric Carle! I mean honestly, who DIDN'T love Eric Carle? The gorgeous pictures, the fun stories...I remember enjoying them as a child, but found as an adult I appreciated the artwork even more! How absolutely stunning! I could look at those beautiful designs all day every day... so today I have some exciting news to share:
The Eric Carle Collection is now available at Gymboree!!!
Eric Carle is the beloved illustrator of such children’s classics as Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See and The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The partnership brings two iconic, parent-trusted brands together and builds on Gymboree’s rich heritage in colorful, quality sleepwear that parents love and children never want to change out of.
That's right! Your children can now enjoy their favorite characters as they play and even bedtime! How absolutely adorable are these? (They even have matching GROWN UP jammies...for the kid at heart! How FUN!)
Want to see them for yourself? Gymboree is hosting an in store event tomorrow, September 5th, from 10am-12pm! Families are invited to visit any one of the Gymboree retail locations (outlets excluded) for caterpillar crafts and story time. Parents can find printable coloring sheets and activities inspired by The World of Eric Carle onhttp://www.gymboree.com/promo/campaign/ericcarle/eric-carle.html
With so many cute designs...how can we ever choose!? The Very Hungry Caterpillar is a favorite in my household...so perhaps a set of jammies for each of my kiddos? (Can you imagine the photo ops!?)
Did you have a favorite Eric Carle book growing up or does your child have one now? Leave a comment with your favorite, and let me know what YOU think of the new collection from Gymboree!!
