I received a set of the Legacy Collection CD’s as a member of the Entertainment New Media Network. No further compensation was received and all opinions are my own.
I absolutely, positively LOVE Disney! (Shocking, right?)
From Mickey Mouse to Cinderella, Lion King to Frozen...I love them all! I love the stories, the illustrations and of course, the MUSIC! Disney movies always have the best music, don't they? In fact, I love Disney music so much, I have a whole playlist dedicated to it on my phone. Not only are they super fun, but it's something the kids and I can both enjoy in the car without worry that they may hear something on the radio I don't want them to hear. Disney music is truly the best!
So, I was thrilled to be given the chance to receive three fantastic selections from the new Disney Legacy Collection- Mary Poppins, Sleeping Beauty and my all time favorite The Lion King!
Now, these are no ordinary soundtracks. Not only do they feature the classic songs we all know and love from the films, but they offer and even deeper look for the hardcore Disney fans like myself. They offer a look at some of the songs that didn't make it into the film, the demos and the stories behind it all. It is the ultimate Disney soundtrack for the ultimate Disney fan! Aside from the amazing content, the artwork is absolutely stunning as well. Art is by Lorelay Bove, "a visual development artist at Walt Disney Animation Studios (“Tangled,” “Winnie the Pooh,” “Wreck-It Ralph”). The illustrations, inspired by the original properties, will celebrate Disney’s rich heritage and create a unified look for the entire collection."
