Welcome a Cure With Carpet One {A Review}

If you know me personally, you know there are a few causes that I personally feel very strongly about. Among these causes are the military and breast cancer. Now, when it comes to breast cancer awareness, the reality is, we're all pretty aware by now, right? In fact, most of us probably know at least one person who has been affected. For me, that person is my mom (among other women in my family).

But did you know a 2009 Walter Reed Army Medical Center study found that women in the armed forces have a higher risk of breast cancer than women who have never served?  It is 19 percent higher for white women and 37 percent higher for black women. At this point, it is not yet known if military women’s risk factors are higher (increased exposure to hazardous chemicals, hostile territories, stress) or if more diligent medical screenings provided to military women help detect the disease. But the reality is, it is affecting women who have served at a higher rate!

How can you help?

But, how did we like it?

Honestly, I loved it! I have to admit, I am super picky about doormats- often I find if I cannot find one I like I just go without. I hate rugs that slip and slide, or that just lack fun! I like color, I like vibrant, I like style! And this one has it all. The colors are nice and vivid, just as I love. The rubber backing keeps it from sliding around. But mostly, I just love the style. As a military family, it allows us to show our patriotism...and to honor the women in our life like my mother at the same time!
