Let's talk surprise eggs!
Do you have a child that loves them?
If so, you know just how addicting these little eggs, and more importantly the videos of their reveals can be to little ones. If you don't know what I'm talking about... well, just keep your children far away. They WILL become obsessed!
So, what exactly are surprise eggs?
They are eggs with fun surprise toys inside... toys like Shopkins and Squinkies and Funko Mini Figures...all those little toys that kids love to collect. And the videos are HUGE! My Finley came across some 'surprise egg' reveals on YouTube kids and it was all downhill from there. She not only loves watching the videos, but she also loves making her own imaginary ones. And when she sees 'blind bags' in the stores? She goes crazy! Though not as crazy about them as his little sister, even my 8 year old enjoys them!
Needless to say, when I heard of the fun subscription box service called EggDrop, I knew that my kids would LOVE it! Take a look:
EggDrop is a subscription box for kids who love Shopkins™, Kinder™ eggs, blind bags, blind boxes or any other type of surprise toy. Inside your EggDrop box will be 6 surprise toys. Surprises like Shopkins, My Little Pony, Pixar, Marvel, and other various toys. We try to mix it up every month!
Fun, right? I was thrilled to have a chance to receive a box for my kids! First thing I have to say is that there is no actual 'surprise egg' in the box, but rather the box itself is more the surprise egg and inside are all those toys you would expect to find in one. In our box we found 3 items more suitable for girls, and 3 more suitable for boys (though my daughter loved it all!).
This box could not have been more perfect for my children if they'd picked them out themselves! The only toy/character that my kids weren't already fans of were the Squinkies... but they were a hit too! Two of my daughter's favorite things are Frozen and Shopkins, so these were right up her alley! My son- thoug unwilling to pose for pictures is a huge fan of superheroes, Big Hero 6 and Minions, so he loved all of these too... though his Minion loving sister did take over the slap bracelet! These aren't anything big or fancy, but they are fun little toys that help to make a child's day a little more fun!
EggDrop boxes can be purchased monthly for $19.99 or yearly for $199.99. Want to have your box a little more customized? The premium boxes allow you to do that for $29.99 a month or $299.99 for the year.
