Over the past several months, I have shared with you all several journaling Bible options that gave the option both of coloring AND journaling. Personally, I love that these offer options so that I could use one Bible for both purposes if I chose to do so. But I have to be honest, for the most part, I really don't do any additional journaling on these pages. Maybe it's because I do have several options already, but I really use these strictly for coloring.
Perhaps you too have looked at these Bibles but knew that for you, journaling just wasn't going to happen, but you still enjoyed the coloring option. If this sounds like you, I have the perfect Bible just for you- the NIV Wonders of Creation Holy Bible:
The NIV Wonders of Creation Holy Bible explores the wonders of our created world though detailed black-and-white illustrations—each one ready to be filled with the hues of your imagination. From amazing Eden-esque gardens to the creatures God made, this Bible features over 50 ready-to-color pages alongside the full text of the New International Version (NIV) translation.
Features include:
Beautiful cover with foil makes for a stunning gift
Over 50 pages of black-and-white illustrations ready to be colored
Key verses called out on each coloring page
The full text of the bestselling New International Version translation
Presentation page for gift giving
Ribbon marker
To be clear, this is NOT a journaling Bible. Unlike other coloring book Bibles that feature the lined margins and have illustrations in margins, the pages in this Bible will look much more like traditional Bible pages- strictly the scripture. However, throughout the Bible, you will find sections of full page illustrations featuring key scriptures and ready for color!
Now, while I loved my journaling coloring Bible, I must admit, I always wished there was just more space. Due to issues with my hands, sometimes those smaller details on those smaller margins was just a bit much for me. This Bible is perfect! I now have FULL pages to color instead!
I am 29 years old, and I absolutely love this Bible for myself, but it's also a great option for younger girls and teenagers. This is fun and exciting, and may just be what every girl needs to help make reading the Bible something they WANT to do, not just something they know they should do.
If you have someone on your holiday list that loves coloring, this is a great gift option for this! It is available to purchase now at your favorite Christian book retailers.

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. -Proverbs 16:24
Oooh I love it!! I love that it has pictures within. Reading the bible can get kind of heavy sometimes so pictures are a great way to recollect your thoughts, take a break and give your mind a chance to relax and reflect.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Something to reflect on while you color!
