When I first discovered adult coloring books, I loved that they gave me a way to take a moment to just relax, throw back to those simple child hood days and relieve some stress. I really didn't think it could or would become anything more than that.
Then I discovered Christian coloring books. I soon realized that this could be not only a stress reliever, but also a really unique form of worship. As I colored these pages and studied the verses that inspired them, my relationship with God grows. I thing for teenagers, finding that more creative outlet can be even more important. Being a Christian at a young age is tough when at that age, we want nothing more than to just fit in.
Today, I'm excited to share with you a great new coloring book devotional that might just be what you are looking for to bring some creativity to the teen in your life, Be Bold:
Be Bold offers an outlet to simultaneously focus on God’s Word and express creativity. Using scripture as the foundation for her designs, Ellen Elliot takes readers through a series of inspiring verses reinforced with short devotional writings. Topics include joy, hope, self-image, peace, and more. Each coloring page and corresponding devotional will help the reader develop a closer relationship with the Heavenly Father.
First and foremost, the designs in this coloring book are wonderful. Each page features a verse or snippet of a verse with fun backgrounds. Each page perfectly encompasses the title... BE BOLD! Not only are the designs exciting and fun, but the devotions will inspire them to be bold in their faith, in their creativity and in their Christian walk.
These devotions may have been written and illustrated with a young adult audience in mind, but even at approaching 30 years old. I thoroughly enjoyed it myself. I know teen girls looking to grow their faith will love it even more.
If you're looking for the perfect Easter basket gift for the teen girl on your list, Be Bold is a great option. It is available to purchase now.
I would love to get a Christian coloring book. They look amazing and I love to color and this is a good way to relieve stress.
