I'm fine. We say this phrase a lot, don't we? When people ask us how we're doing, this tends to be our go to response. Not great, not bad. Just FINE.
I don't know about you, but for me even when I say I'm fine... rarely is that the full truth. I want to be fine. I know I have it better than other people and should not complain. And well frankly, sometimes we just don't feel like taking on the questions that an honest response would bring about... or just feel as though others truly are not interested. And so we keep it simple. I'm fine. Even if we're not really feeling it.
The reality is:
I am stressed.
I am overwhelmed.

Fine? I wish! Most days I'm far from it. But I want to reach that point. I want to be able to honestly and enthusiastically say "I am not jut fine, I am WELL!"
