Halloween is almost here...and in our house we are ALL about the treats!

Candy might get all the glory this time of year, but I must admit, it's not the go to treat for my family! Given the choice, my kids (and I) would choose Entenmann's Little Bites any day!

Now, we have the Halloween TREATS taken care of--- delicious snacks and a fantastic chance to win... but we all know Halloween would NOT be complete without a sweet costume! We took a little inspiration from Little Bites to create a simple, fun costume that truly is the sweetest of them all. Check it out:

Simple DIY Muffin Costume

Foam Board
Scissors/Knife
Crayons/Paint/Markers
Ribbon
Foil
Tape/Glue

Start by drawing your muffin shape onto your foam board. Size will depend on the size of your child, so you can change that accordingly.
Use a knife or scissors to carefully cut out your muffin shape. I personally find that a sharp knife, box cutter or exacto knife seem to work best as using scissors is pretty awkward.
Use crayons, paint, etc to decorate your muffin top. We went with a classic blueberry muffin, which my daughter colored with crayons. Paint or markers will certainly make the colors pop more, but outlining in a black permanent marker helps bring out the details too.
For the bottom, we cut a large piece of foil and applied to the cup of the muffin with glue. You can certainly just paint this a different color if desired, but we liked the contrast of the metallic to again just really make this costume pop (bonus, the foil should show better at night too!)
Add ribbon around the neck (and waist too, if desired for more stability).

This super simple costume is cute, inexpensive AND celebrates our love of Little Bites oh-so-perfectly!!
