I don't know about you, but I love getting dolled up--- putting on a nice outfit, doing my makeup and hair, etc. So many of us do, right? 

But one thing that we often don't give too much thought to is our skincare. When we're teenagers just starting to enjoy finding our own beauty routine, skincare isn't quite as important--- or at least not in the same ways anyway. At 32 years old, I must admit that I'm rather blessed to often be told that I don't look my age... but if you were to look too closely, I can certainly see the signs of aging attempting to make their ugly appearance. And so over the last few years, I've really made an effort to focus on my skin and try to keep it as healthy and youthful as possible.

When I was offered the chance to try out AZN Labs Hydrogel Eye Patches, I jumped at the chance.

The skin around our eyes is very thin and sensitive and as such tends to be the first place where we start to see signs of aging appear, which is why we see so many products geared towards this area. While my own issues might be very subtle, I know they are there and I want to do what I can now to keep that skin looking as good as I can for as long as I can. I figure it's best to start early and prevent rather than try to go back later and fix, right? And so I was very excited to give these patches a chance.

My first impression was that they were very refreshing. They were very cool and just felt really nice on my skin. It's no secret that cooling can be great for under eye circles as well, so that was great. The patches do not stick on, but rather are moist and just sort of cling to your skin a bit. I did notice that one of my patches liked to slide just ever so slightly, so if you can take the few minutes to just relax and enjoy the experience I would recommend it. You leave the patches on for 10-15 minutes, so I personally used this time to take care of other routines like brushing my teeth, etc. Once the time has passed, you simply take them off and dispose. They left my skin feeling soft and moisturized, great for my typically dry skin. It also seemed to leave behind a nice, subtle 'glow'... again as my skin tends to look a little dry, this was perfect for me. I was thrilled with the results, and really enjoyed the overall pampering experience they offered.
