There is something about an (in)courage book that I just cannot resist. From the moment I came across their website MANY years ago, I fell in love with their beautifully written and oh-so-relatable stories and devotions. So, when I see that (in)courage name or logo on a new book, I have rather high expectation. This one did not disappoint.
First and foremost, this book is absolutely beautiful. Of course, we're not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but let's be honest, that IS where many of us get their initial impression, right? I loved the beautiful cover, and was happy to see the adorable illustrations continued inside throughout the pages as well. From beautiful images of mothers and children to images depicting some of the not-so-fun aspects of motherhood (*cough*laundry*cough*), I couldn't get enough of them. More importantly though, the words also were equally fantastic. I loved the stories and devotions within---all perfect for moms--- and even the spaces throughout with room to journal your thoughts. Overall, this is a fantastic book that any mama is sure to appreciate-- definitely a must see!
