What is it about a little scare that so many people enjoy? Horror movies and novels draw fans like crazy, after all. For many of us 90s kids, that enjoyment of being scared started young. In fact, it may have been started with one simple question:
Are you afraid of the dark?
Oh, yes... so many of us enjoyed these kid friendly scares! We could not get enough. While I don't remember specific episodes, I can remember enjoying each one and getting excited to see what would happen. When I saw that Nickelodeon had done a reboot of this classic series, I could not wait to check it out with my own kids too. Like the older series, this new one is just creepy enough to enjoy... without being too creepy for kids (think Goosebumps, etc). While younger or more sensitive kids might not enjoy it, older kids will.
This DVD is particularly great to enjoy with the family--- featuring new episodes for the younger generation...and classic episodes that us adults will enjoy for the nostalgia! It was such a joy to be able to watch some of these episodes once again!
Whether you were a fan of the classic series, or have a child who enjoys the new one, this DVD is a must for fans of ALL ages!
