Starstruck in Willow Falls is the third book in Pat Nichol's Willow Falls story. While I think this would probably be okay as a standalone, I would certainly recommend reading the previous books first. There is a rather unique family dynamic within the story, not to mention a good number of quirky characters to love... and I feel like that can best be appreciated with a little more backstory.
Willow Falls is one of those fictional towns that you just cannot help falling in love with... what with all it's colorful personalities and all. I for one couldn't wait to go back. In this story, we catch up with Willow Falls during a rather busy season. Not only is Rachel in the midst of planning her wedding which is sure to be a huge town event, but movie crews have taken over the town to shoot a movie there. Rachel and Emily find themselves acting as liaisons for the director. With the fun folks in Willow Falls, you know that means that there will be plenty of laughter and drama... and I couldn't get enough of it.
Sure, sometimes the town and it's people might come across as a little over the top, but that's what makes it so fantastic. With plenty of surprises tossed in, this was most certainly an enjoyable read for me and one that fans of small town romances or cute Hallmark-style stories are absolutely sure to enjoy!
