Ambushed in the canyon
with no memory of why…
Waking on a cliffside with bullets firing and two unknown children at her side, Annie Tillman knows she must run—even if she doesn’t know why. Dashing to the nearest ranch leads her to former FBI agent Riggs Brenner, who just might be their best chance of surviving in the canyon. But can Annie overcome her amnesia and uncover the reason why they’re being chased?
Connie Queen spent her life in Texas where she met and married her high-school sweetheart. Together they’ve raised eight children and are enjoying their grandchildren. As a child, Connie remembers her mom and sisters reading, but she preferred to be outside. It wasn't until later, she found the joy of being whisked away into another world. Today she resides in Texas with her husband, and Nash, her Great Dane, where she’s working on her next suspense.
One thing that I always seem to enjoy about Love Inspired Suspense reads is that thy don't make you wait long to get into the action... and don't have many breaks in it to the finish either. This definitely held true for Canyon Survival as well. The action starts immediately, and we find ourselves in that canyon right along with Annie, wondering who she was, how she got there and where these kids came from...and more importantly--- who in the world was after them? From page one right through to the conclusion, this high paced story kept me turning pages to see how it all came together. There was of course some romance too, which I personally might have liked to have seen a little more of, but then I'm definitely one who enjoys more romance! While I was able to figure out who the bad guys were fairly early on in the story, I found that I still enjoyed the story nonetheless. Overall, a good, quick read that fans of romantic suspense are sure to want to check out.
