An Unexpected Roomie is the third book in the Love Tuscon series. If you've read the previous books in the series, you'll see some familiar characters popping up... but this can most definitely enjoy this one as a standalone as well. 

One of the things that I have really loved about this series so far is that each book has been just the right blend of more serious real-life issues with the romance and humor. There is a depth and a focus on mental health and healing that I really appreciate, but they still remain fun and enjoyable to read. Each story has stuck with me and I've loved them all... this one was absolutely no exception. In fact, it might even beat out Haley and the Yeti as my favorite in the series so far! First of all, this one takes on some of my absolute favorite romance tropes--- best friend's brother, marriage of convenience and opposites attract. Beyond that though, these two were just amazing together. Their chemistry was just... wow, so very good. And I loved getting little glimpses of their history throughout the story as well. They both have events in their life that they have to work out and I loved watching them grow through it. There really was just so much to love about their story... and love it I did! 

An Unexpected Roomie is a closed-door romance. That said, some of the kisses are a bit more descriptive and there are some fade-to-black moments (with a married couple), so that's certainly something to keep in mind if that's not your cup of tea.
