We were sent a copy to check it out for ourselves and I was really impressed. The illustrations are vivid, sharing short but impactful stories to help connect readers to God's word. They are in chronological order so that kids can better understand the big picture story. My daughter loves reading--- but she's also a big fan of graphic novels, so she was quickly drawn into this one. While we know that the Bible is exciting and full of adventure... it's also a little intimidating and can be hard for readers of all ages to understand, so I really appreciated how this offers a glimpse of that. While it should certainly never replace a full Bible... it is a great resource and can definitely encourage kids to want to pick it up to get the full story... which are all referenced so they know exactly where to look. Major themes of the Bible are highlighted throughout with icons that help kids personalize their faith and live God’s Word. Themes of the Bible are based on David C Cook’s tested Bible study curriculum for kids and include: Courage, Faith, Hope, Love, Service, Trust, and Wisdom.



Throughout the stories, you will also find QR codes that will take you to their website where you can find devotions, games and more. My daughter particularly enjoyed this aspect and loved checking it all out. Spiritual Growth Resources include over 200 devotionals, prayers, character stories, teaching videos, timelines, maps, and Bible facts. The Faith In Action Edition is the most complete interactive Bible for kids and teens... and my daughter absolutely loved everything about it.
