The Book
Is it rational to hate my billionaire boss because he’s too nice?
Maybe not.
However, it’s definitely rational to apply to become a billionaire stranger’s housewife so I can quit being a personal assistant.
When—in a shocking turn of events—I encounter billionaire scarcity and learn I’ve signed up to become my boss’s wife before Christmas, I backpedal so hard I’m liable to pull something.
Shame indeed my too nice boss picks this moment to blackmail me.
The agreement is simple: I date him; he pays off my crippling debt; I have until the end of November to decide whether or not I’m saying “I do.”
It’s one measly autumn, and then I’m free.
There’s no way I'll fall in love before this contract’s up…
Even if Finnegan Marsh proves to be so much more than nice.
Hating the Cinnamon Roll CEO is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy with cozy autumn vibes, office romance, and plenty of closed-door sizzle.
The Author
Camilla Evergreen is an alias of USA Today bestselling author Anne Stryker. Originally intended as a dumping ground for all things lacking fantasy, Camilla/Anne came to the shocking discovery that writing sarcastic, chaotic romcoms full of quippy heroines and adoring heroes has a kick to it.
Camilla/Anne’s neurodivergent tendencies leave her hyperfocused on writing sweet and sassy romances from dawn till dusk and lending whatever her current creative obsessions are to her characters. From arranged marriages to falling for the boss, there’s lots of love to go around.

Book Review
Hating the Cinnamon Roll CEO is the first book in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. This is a multi-author series of standalone novels that can be enjoyed in any order.Camilla Evergreen never fells to bring stories that are equal parts swoonworthy and wholly unique... with characters unlike any others who are uniquely themselves finding their perfect match. Hating the Cinnamon Roll CEO was absolutely no exception! First of all, Finn truly was the ideal cinnamon roll character... the absolute sweetest guy ever! Marcella, on the other hand, is very much the grumpy to his sunshine. She doesn't care too much for nice, is sarcastic and hard to get to know... and at times leans a little towards violence and death threats too. I absolutely loved how Finn loved her just as she was and didn't seek to change her, but rather wanted to learn how to love her in a way that worked for her. Like I said, he's just the sweetest. Despite her protests to the contrary, she actually had a lot of love to share too, and I loved seeing her letting down her walls and letting him in. And her grand gesture? Oh my goodness... I won't give anything away, but I will say it was absolutely the sweetest thing ever and had me reaching for the tissues! I loved it! While they might not be the characters you'd expect to find in a romcom (unless you've read Camilla's books before, of course), it's impossible not to fall in love with them both.
Hating the Cinnamon Roll CEO is a closed-door romance with kisses only and mild innuendo. It does have mentions of a few topics that could be triggering such as suicide and a parent with dementia.
