You Mocha Me Crazy by Tia Marlee: Book Review

**ARC received for consideration. All opinions are my own.

The Book

Love brews where coffee steams and hammers swing.

Aurora has spent years working to step out of her father’s shadow, and owning a Coffee Loft franchise is the pinnacle of her dreams. Her latest venture—a collaboration with her friend Lacey to add an early learning play center—seems like the perfect way to make her mark. That is, until Bradley, her father’s contractor, shows up on the job.

Bradley’s back in town, eager to rekindle his friendship with Aurora, his sixth-grade crush. He’s happy to take on the project of remodeling her store, hoping to see if the girl he once knew could be the one. But Aurora can’t forget the childhood teasing that made her life miserable, and getting close to Bradley is anything but easy.

When an unexpected encounter with the girl who made her school years a nightmare sheds new light on the past, Aurora begins to question her assumptions about Bradley. Can she let go of old wounds and open her heart to the possibility of love?

Book Review

You Mocha Me Crazy is part of The Coffee Loft: Fall Collection. This is a multi-author series that all feature a Coffee Loft coffee shop, and all can be enjoyed as standalones or in any order.

There's something really sweet about a childhood crush, isn't there? Bradley has had a crush on Aurora since they were children, but when his crush leads to her being bullied, she places some of that blame on him. Needless to say, she's not too pleased to find that he'll be working on her shop. Bradley is such a sweetheart, and I loved seeing him finally get his chance to get the girl. It was such a sweet romance with all the fall feels--- reading it truly felt like a hug from a friend or a nice warm mug of cocoa--- warm and cozy. It was a pretty short read--- easily read in just a sitting or two--- but didn't feel it was lacking in any way. I believe this is the first book I had read by the author and while it was set in the same world of her previous series, it wasn't necessary to have read them to enjoy this one. It did have me looking forward to reading more though!

You Mocha Me Crazy is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
