The Book

Wesley Hughes fell in love with Annie two years ago, and he never told another soul. It seemed strange to confess love for a girl he’d only spent a week with and had never even taken on a proper date. When he returned home, he knew he might be losing his one shot at true love. However, fate intervenes when his best friend sends him on a month-long business trip back to her family’s palace. Wes’s only goal: to win Annie’s heart.

Princess Annalise thought Wes was handsome…until he opened his mouth. She didn’t trust his charismatic, over-the-top personality, dismissing his flirtation as meaningless flattery. She would’ve been fine never seeing him again, but now Wes is back for a month and her father assigned her the task of being the sole welcoming committee. Annie tries to keep Wes at arm’s length, but the more time they spend together, the more she realizes it will be near impossible not to fall for the one person she vowed she never would.

A Royal Possibility is a novella in the Royal Hearts series. This is a sweet, closed-door romance and can be read as a standalone.

The Author

As a child, Amanda Schimmoeller had two loves: writing and Disney. She now combines the two by writing stories of true love, broken hearts, and happily ever afters while surviving on copious amounts of iced chais and binge-worthy tv. You’ll find her plotting her next great love story and living out her own fairytale in Knoxville, TN with her husband and their dog.

Book Review

A Royal Possibility is part of the Royal Hearts series. While you may have a better understanding of all of the relationships within the story if you've read the previous books, this could certainly be enjoyed as a standalone as well. There is a series epilogue at the end that you might want to skip over if you're reading out of order though. 

This was such a fun addition to this wonderful series! Wes and Annie are just the cutest together. I love how unapologetically into her he is. This is definitely a 'he falls first' story... and quite literally with a hilarious meet cute! He is not afraid to let his intentions towards Annie be known, and I was absolutely here for it! She's a bit more apprehensive and thinks he's just a flirt... but I loved seeing how he slowly but surely won her over. It was a bit of a slower burn on her part, but absolutely worth the wait! I loved seeing Wes get his happily ever after and catching up with the characters that we met throughout the series. If you've read the previous books, you'll definitely enjoy seeing where our favorite royal couples are in the future with the series epilogue. Though I'm admittedly sad to see this series end--- I adored it so much! I look forward to seeing what Amanda Schimmoeller does next!
