Looking for a wonderful devotional to use in your time with God? 

Today I'm excited to share a beautiful new devotional that might just be the perfect fit. Take a look: 

From acclaimed author Deb Burma, this women’s devotional journal features 100 daily devotions, as well as reflection questions, journaling prompts, prayers, activity ideas, and challenges.

Forgiven in Christ, motivated by the Gospel, and empowered by the Spirit, women will be inspired to live out the "immeasurably more" that Jesus provides for them (Ephesians 3:20–21).

First and foremost, what a beautiful devotional! While I know that it shouldn't make any difference, I must admit that I am always more likely to reach for a book/devotional when it has a beautiful design like this one! And thankfully, the devotions inside are every bit as beautiful. The title really stuck out to me right away as this is something we discuss frequently in my Sunday school class--- that God is SO much more than the box we so often put him in. While it's not something we are trying to do, it's just so difficult to full grasp the entirety of God's power when we look at it through human eyes. In the introduction, it talks about how He is 'immeasurably more' than all we ask and imagine and because of those discussions, I found myself really wanting to dive in. 

While I have not read all 100 devotions at the time of this post, I am really liking what I see so far. I love that the author shares personal stories and experiences, but always brings it back to the scriptures as well. At the end of each devotion, there is a question to consider, and some space to write your thoughts. Some pages have more room than others, and if you tend to get a little wordy like me, you might find a separate journal would be better, but I do love this addition. It also offered a guided prayer, which was different than many devotionals I've seen in the past as it was really just a starting point and you could continue it, some even with fill in the blanks, which felt much more personal.
