Book Review

The Friendly Fall is the eighth and final book in the Cinnamon Rolls and Pumpkin Spice series. This is a multi-author series with each book being able to be enjoyed in any order or as standalones. 

Kristine W. Joy has become a favorite of mine--- and stories like this one are exactly why! It was the perfect blend of heart and humor--- plus all those cozy fall small town vibes that I adore! First of all, that meet cute! What can I say--- I love a good awkward/embarrassing meet cute! Falling through a ramp and having to be rescued by the hot firefighter will definitely fit that description. Right away, I adored Nick and Eliza together with their undeniable chemistry. With her recent break up, Eliza is hesitant about romance, so this was definitely a 'he falls first' kind of story--- and I loved how hard and fast he fell. He truly was such a perfectly sweet cinnamon roll MMC! With a little bit of fake dating, family meddling and a first kiss that was absolute perfection, there was so much to love about this one and I couldn't help but enjoy every single minute.
