Book Review

Oh my goodness, this book! I had the opportunity to beta read this novella, and right from the start, I found myself absolutely drawn in--- even from just the opening line. So often with novellas, it can be more difficult to fully get into the story as there just isn't as much time to really get to know the characters and their backstory like you would a full-length novel... and yet, that wasn't the case with this one. Not only were the characters perfectly developed, but I felt like we really got to know them and their history very quickly. It wasn't rushed but just got right into the heart of the story. The chemistry between William and Cade was absolutely fantastic and all that mutual pining... I just adored these two so much. William is definitely more structured, and I actually saw a lot of myself in this character. I loved that while Cade did loosen him up a bit, she also saw what he needed and made sure he was taken care. This was such a fantastic road trip romance and one that really has me looking forward to what is to come next in the series. I cannot wait.
