The Book
Their hearts are on the line, their careers hang in the balance, and one stolen kiss could change everything.
Clara Montgomery has her dream job, lives in her dream home, and works with her dream guy. Or, at least, she thinks he is her dream guy. He sure kissed her like he was. But when he friend-zones her after an invite to a romantic weekend get-a-way and ditches her to do his own thing, she is more confused than ever. But the real problem is that she has to continue to work with the guy in close quarters, and things just keep getting more and more awkward. Especially when he asks her for help. Dusty Finnegan has been keeping his feelings hidden for the last five years for the woman he adores. Work is his priority, and nothing can get in the way of making sure he climbs to the top of the NOAA. But when they are put on a team together and left to their own devices, he accidentally lets his feelings slip and kisses her at work, making the biggest mistake of his career. When the boss shows him the camera footage of the kiss, he gives him an ultimatum stating that there will be no in-office relationships, shutting down any hopes he had of both advancing his career and his relationship. But when his apartment catches on fire, he has nowhere else to turn, but to the woman who holds not only his heart but also his career in the palm of her hand.
“I might not be a smooth talker or the most poetic of guys, but what I feel for you, darlin’… it’s real. It’s big, messy, and sometimes it makes me a complete fool for love. But it’s all because I’m crazy for you.”

Book Review
Fools for Love is the first book in the new Harboring Hearts series but is connected to Crush Landed. Those who have read that book will enjoy catching up with familiar characters, but this one can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone as well. This was such a cute read--- giving us both a trip to the beach AND all the cowboy goodness too! As the story begins, Dusty and Clara are at a bit of an awkward point in their relationship--- they've kissed (which those who have read Crush Landed may recall) and are about to make a trip to Willow Cove together. Unbeknownst to Clara though, the kiss was caught on camera and their boss has threatened both of their jobs, making Dusty start to pull away to protect them both. This certainly leads to an awkward trip. There are a lot of interesting twists in this story that I didn't see coming, but they're best experienced for yourself, so I can't say too much and give it away! What I will say is that Molly comes up with a rather unique workaround to the rules and what follows is a really fun story that I couldn't get enough of. I really enjoyed Clara and Dusty together... despite his best efforts to stay away, they have such a fantastic chemistry... and when he calls her darling!? Oh my goodness. This story truly was such a joy to read--- catching up with old friends and meeting some new ones that I hope to see more from in the future! I can't wait to see what happens next in the series!
Fools for Love is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
