The Last Supper.
This is an image we are all very familiar with--- both the iconic painting of the same name and the scriptures that so many of us hear every single week during communion. Oftentimes, when something is so familiar, we often forget to really remember the importance of it... or at least to consider it from different perspectives. Today, I'm excited to share a new film that is perfect for the upcoming Easter season- The Last Supper. Take a look:

I was given the chance to check out this beautiful film before it's theatrical release... and it truly is that- beautiful. I've watched a lot of Biblical films, and even those that cover the same timing--- Jesus' last days before His death, but what I really appreciated about this one was that it does focus more on the perspective of those around Him. While not overly graphic, it also didn't sugarcoat what Jesus experienced either. (That said, you might still want to give it a watch if you do have more sensitive children.) I thought this was a beautiful film that brings the Bible to life in a way that will captivate audiences.
