The Book
He already lost his good name. Can he afford to lose his heart as well?
Silas Yorke is in hiding. After being falsely accused of murder by one of the most powerful peers in England, he has no other choice. But he itches for freedom. Concealment in the countryside was difficult enough, but to clear his name, he must assume a new identity and go to London. There, he courts real danger—the last thing on his mind is courting women.
Until he meets Miss Easton.
Arabella Easton has been raised with wealth and position—and no opportunity to make choices of her own. When her father allows her to join her cousin in London, she hopes to make the most of her opportunity. Her father might intend for her to make a match, but Arabella wishes to experience life rather than cede her freedom to another man.
Yet, she is drawn almost immediately to the mysterious gentleman she meets at a masquerade. Being with him is exhilarating in ways she has never known. But is he the man he says he is, or is their romance doomed from the start?
A Reckless Courtship is the third in a series of Regency romances, full of banter, a touch of suspense, and all the swoon without the steam.

Book Review
A Reckless Courtship is the third book in A Chronicle of Misadventures series. While you may be able to enjoy this one as a standalone, I think this is one that is going to be best read in order. We have gotten to know a little bit of Silas's story throughout the series and having that history will only make his book all the more satisfying.Regency romance is admittedly very hit and miss for me... I enjoy them on occasion, but it's honestly not a genre that I tend to gravitate towards. But from the moment I read the first book in this series, I was absolutely hooked... and one of the things that definitely drew me in was Silas's character. Having gotten glimpses of his story in the background of both previous books, I was beyond excited for him to finally get his own book... and it absolutely did not disappoint! The last thing he is looking for when he returns to try to clear his name from a false murder accusation is to fall in love... but the connection with Arabella is undeniable. From their initial awkward meeting to a twist that most certainly complicated everything, these two absolutely drew me in and kept me wanting to see how everything would play out. With a hint of suspense, this was a fantastic read that I absolutely couldn't get enough of! If you love Regency romance, this is definitely one to add to your TBR.
A Reckless Courtship is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.
