The Book
I hate my boss almost as much as I love my pufferfish, Potato.
Since my presence has always caused disaster wherever I go, I'm used to being bullied and outcast. I was not used to my favorite author, Viktor Bachelor, crushing my dreams in a writing critique I won from him ten years ago.
Fast forward to the present, and I have one goal: ruin Viktor's life.
I schemed for years in order to become his PA so I could bestow the misfortune that is me upon him.
I'm not throwing a decade of loathing away just because I'm seeing a different side to him now that we're stuck together....in the same room....and bed...at a writing retreat.
No way.
Even if it gives him sciatica, he's sleeping on the floor.

This is a boss/pa, enemies to lovers romcom with plenty of sizzle, yet none of the spice. Fall in love with he falls first swoon, and enjoy the humorous world of Sunset, West Virginia.
The Author
Camilla Evergreen is an alias of USA Today bestselling author Anne Stryker. Originally intended as a dumping ground for all things lacking fantasy, Camilla/Anne came to the shocking discovery that writing sarcastic, chaotic romcoms full of quippy heroines and adoring heroes has a kick to it.
Camilla/Anne’s neurodivergent tendencies leave her hyperfocused on writing sweet and sassy romances from dawn till dusk and lending whatever her current creative obsessions are to her characters. From arranged marriages to falling for the boss, there’s lots of love to go around.

Book Review
Camilla Evergreen has once again knocked it out of the park with an enemies to lovers romcom that is the perfect blend of sweet and snarky--- and perhaps just the slightest bit unhinged (but in the best way possible). Crisis and Viktor are certainly not your typical romcom couple. First of all, as the title suggests, she absolutely loathes him after a critique he wrote on her writing years earlier. So, she worked to become his PA with the goal of making his life absolutely miserable. And he... falls for her anyway. And boy, does he fall hard. The lengths he will go to for her... well, you'll have to read it to find out! Their banter kept me smiling right from the start, but I also loved how he wanted to make her see her own worth. This was a fun way to start the new series, and already I find myself looking forward to seeing more of the Bachelor brothers as the series goes on. I can't wait.Loathing My Boss is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language. There are also brief mentions of abuse. As always, the author does a great job of laying out reader expectations, so I definitely recommend reading her note to decide if it's a good fit.
