In 2015, I felt a calling to write a Christian novel. I had a dream of a little girl sitting on a stainless-steel bench in an antiseptic room. I could only see the back of her head swaying right and left as she sang a song and swung her legs, which were too short to touch the floor. From this dream, The Resurrection Project was born.  It is a Christian futuristic medical mystery involving recommitment to God, faith, and victory.  

Rescuing the Remnant is part two of The Resurrection Project series. It begins right where the first part ends. The reader gets a more detailed account of how L2 (Liza) and Mamie were saved from imminent danger at the hands of Dr. Raymond Lyons. As the rescuers reflect on the escape, they realize they must commit to helping the other boys and girls reach safety. The readers get a front-row seat to see how the main characters put their total faith in God as He guides them to bring restoration to the children and their families. As in real life, not everything turns out as expected. There are trials and tribulations, but through the difficulties, the heroes mature spiritually, their faith increases, and their walk with the Lord grows stronger.  

As an author, I'm inspired to tell a good "God Story", reminding readers that our God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If He could save Daniel in the Lion's Den thousands of years ago, He can certainly save the lives of these genetically-created children in this futuristic thriller.  God has not taken a respite since the conclusion of the writing of Revelation. He is not only focused on preparing a future home for His Bride. He has given His Holy Spirit to dwell within the hearts of His children providing the same love, wisdom, and guidance experienced by the characters in The Resurrection Project series.
