With Easter quickly approaching, what better time is there to have conversations about faith with your children? It is, after all, the single most important day for us as Christians, isn't it? And yet, it can sometimes be lost in the midst of egg hunts and treats. While I enjoy all of that as well, I always want to be sure that I'm teaching my children about the real reason that we celebrate this special day.
But how can we do that? The concept of Easter can be a really difficult one for kids to grasp. If we're being honest, the same can be said about adults too. Kids can know that Jesus died, but how do we explain the WHY in a way that will make sense to them? This year, Minno's Laugh and Grow Easter Special is making it really easy by showing kids the story of Easter and the hope that Jesus offers in a way that was made just for them.
I watched this adorable special for myself, and it really is the perfect introduction to the Easter story for young viewers. While my kids might be a little bit older than the intended audience for this one, we still found it super cute! It was all Biblically based but told in a way that makes sense and is age appropriate for younger audiences. It's the perfect way to help parents lay that foundation of faith in a way that is both fun and educational.
